I’ve spent the majority of my career in the eCommerce industry, and a few themes have always held true: humans need tech to scale, data is only useful when turned into action, and of course, constant change.
When Zhaohui and I set out to build Pacvue, I knew we couldn’t solve every eCommerce challenge overnight, but those themes guided our business and our product through each step of our journey. Pacvue was one of the first software platforms to integrate with the Amazon Advertising API, then subsequently Walmart Connect, Instacart Ads, and on and on. We quickly became known as the leader in marketplace advertising – consistently rated #1 platform! – and the growth of the business followed.
One of the principles we live by as a Pacvue team is innovation. It became clear that brands needed a fundamentally different way to grow their business. They needed to break down silos, to unify their data, to bring retail media and the digital shelf together to make smarter decisions. They needed training and community and an ecosystem to help them succeed. Thankfully, there are a lot of smart people in this industry working to tackle these challenges, so we don’t have to do it alone.
When I first met Sandeep Kella, CEO of Assembly, our visions for the future of eCommerce instantly clicked. Assembly is focused on helping brands and sellers grow by building the best eCommerce software tools ranging across marketplace, social, and performance analytics in addition to providing a community where these brands and sellers can find education and support. Today, as Pacvue officially joins the Assembly family, we’re truly teaming up with the best of the best for the next phase of our growth.
Personally, I’m excited to continue in my role leading the Pacvue business, and I’m looking forward to working alongside Sandeep and the rest of the Assembly leadership team. Pacvue will continue to operate as Pacvue, but now we’ll have even more resources, expertise, and solutions to help brands win.
I also want to say thank you to everyone who has been part of the Pacvue journey so far, from our clients to our partners to our friends. And of course, I have to say a huge, bottom-of-my-heart thank you to each and every Pacvue team member. I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished together.
When I think about the future of eCommerce, the themes of scalable tech, unification, actionable data, and constant change are only going to grow in importance. We recently announced a new product line, Pacvue Commerce, enabling brands to automate the operational side of their business as we continue to help unify the holistic eCommerce path to purchase with best-in-class software. We have many more exciting developments planned for the months ahead, and I can’t wait to share them with you.

Onward and upward!
